Moja is a bass and drum, rock-ish and definitely dance-able Japanese band. They’re one of the acts at North By NorthEast I would check out, if I were to go. Of course, I’d have to check out each and every other performance during the fest so I could really determine if I wanted to go or not…and that seems like a lot of work.
Anyway, you can go visit Moja at their Mac site, or via their Myspace. They only have 3 songs up, and it doesn’t look like they have any CDs recorded yet.
And a major thought…if we (I) dive into the indie scene again, I’d have:
- A lot of bands to discover/re-discover
- A hard time supporting them all, the one’s that I’d like
- Maybe no life, trying to discover every frickin’ indie band on this frickin’ planet
So…I’m probably not going to dive into the so-called “indie scene” again 😛
