It’s been a long time coming, but happy new year (and happy Chinese new year). There were a few songs that could have received the “honour” of being covered first in the new year, but ultimately Thrice comes out on top again. Here is “Come All You Weary” by Thrice, a song which heavily references Matthew 11:28-30.
Just as I have been encouraged, may this encourage you.

Perhaps one of the last recordings of this year will be “It’s Not Enough” by Dustin Kensrue (of Thrice).
This time around I went for a simplistic delay, an element you might find in a few more recordings in the new year for a different project.
Dustin’s vocal strength is just too amazing, and it’s something I can only wish to aspire to; alas, he is he and I am myself.
Wear both earphones, this one’s a stereo experiment again!
During lunch on Sunday, I started an earworm of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” for one of my friends. I joked about making a screamo/rock version for her to check out. I guess we forgot I don’t joke around with these kind of things…
So here’s a rock version! IN STEREO! For all the lulz.
