I actually started this cover concept in April 2019, with the intention of a post-hardcore/metalcore melodic singing and screaming dichotomy…but my vocal chords are too frail to scream like I want.
More importantly, the truths in this song constantly remind me of who I once was (a sinner, bound for eternal death); what God accomplished through Jesus on the cross (redeemed me from sin, giving me freedom to eternal life through his death and resurrection); and what I ought to do (share this Good News!).
