7 of 6 Things

16There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: 17haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, 19a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.

Prov. 16-19 ESV

Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone [at her].

John 8:7

Of course, what Jesus meant from the passage in John is that whomever is blameless should cast the first stone upon the woman who was caught committing adultery. However, from what we’ve seen in Proverbs (and through some other passages in the Bible), ALL have fallen short (“sinning” is going against the Commandments) in God’s eyes, and are therefore “ineligible” to cast the first stone at anyone.
